Think of all the beautiful things you can do with a lovely piece of paper. Color it, crease it, put ink on it, put metal foil on it, cut it into shapes, raise it with an emboss or press a deboss deeply into it. That's what we do. Letterpresses were developed over centuries to explore all the beauty that can be made when paper meets type, foil die, or steel rule cutting die. We use our vintage presses to place your mark on the sheet.
We work from your supplied file and with graphic designers to help you create your printed piece.
foil-stamping & embossing
We use etched copper and milled brass dies to raise the image on your sheet and make it tactile and eye-catching.
With traditional steel-rule dies we can cut useful and decorative designs that make your item memorable.
Mara, print professional
Soft, pillowy, double-thick rag paper; deep, crisp impressions; brilliant color; snappy shapes and clean cuts. Oh, yeah, that's Handcraft Press in the hands of David and his mighty machines. I'll take some.

Andy, Tonsorial Barber
I overheard David speak of a letterpress whilst in the barbershop one fine day, and the rest is history. I was in need of a substitute printer since I left Denver. David is easy to communicate with although he's located in Dinosaur, CO. I solemnly swear that his print on those duplex cards are more crisp than the original.
